Christian has a wealth of experience in asset finance and cross border lending.

Prior to incorporating ATF, Christian spent 10 years at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe London, where he set up and headed The Africa Desk, within the Global Finance Department.

This desk was one of the most profitable businesses of the bank, taking multi million dollars in profit annually. Some of the transactions Christian worked on were awarded best deal prizes.

Christian Karam gained his Bachelor and Masters Degree in Finance at the SKema Business School in France.

We believe Christian’s lateral thinking and ability to anticipate industry dynamics have led to the development of several successful initiatives across several African Trade Finance Markets.
